Great post. I served in the US Submarine Force for eight years. Among my most prized possessions are the two US flags, given to me by my commanding officers, that flew over USS Abraham Lincoln SSBN-602 and Submarine NR-1. My biggest regret is that I have reached an age where I can no longer don the uniform of our country and once again patrol the perimeter of the free world. God bless America and all those who proudly serve her at great personal risk and sacrifice.
